Phyllis Jean Clouse Mitchell

Phyllis Jean Clouse Mitchell, 71, of Eastern, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at her residence.
She was born July 26, 1940, to the late Luther and Anna Lee Daniels Clouse. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Lackey Freewell Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Wallen Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Craig Clouse, and two sisters, Princess Starner and Judy Wallen.
She is survived by one son, Ricky (Rosa) Mitchell, of Garrett; two daughters, Phyllis (William) Marshall and Martha (Greg) Isaacs, both of Eastern; brothers and sister, Danny Clouse and Glendore Vanhoose, both of Paintsville; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday Jan. 20, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Johnny Collins and Buddy Jones officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Mitchell Family Cemetery, at Ligon.
