EASTERN – Allen Central High School senior Micah Harlow will play college football close to home. Harlow has signed with neighboring University of Pikeville.


An accomplished quarterback, Harlow completed 100-of-192 passes for 1,466 yards and 16 touchdowns during his senior senior. The Allen Central gridiron standout also rushed for 111 yards and seven touchdowns in his final prep campaign.


Harlow was a four-year starter for Allen Central, excelling defensively prior to becoming the Class A football program’s starting signal-caller.


Defensively, Harlow recorded 53 total tackles (31 solos) during his senior campaign.


Harlow completed his school basketball career earlier in the week when the Rebels competed in the 58th District Tournament.


Dudley Hilton is headed into his second season as head coach of the UPIKE football program.


The Bears concluded the 2011 season 4-7 overall and 1-5 in the Mid-South Conference. UPIKE competes in the Mid-South Conference.
