HI HAT - South Floyd High School senior Kiana Hall made her college choice official on Tuesday afternoon, signing with Alice Lloyd College. Prior to signing with ALC, Hall had also considered the University of Pikeville.

As a senior, Hall ranked as one of the state’s top three-point shooters. She was named the 15th Region Player of the Year at the conclusion of her senior campaign.

Hall, who played her high school basketball for veteran head coach Tony Isaac, averaged 17 points per game for South Floyd during the 2011-12 regular-season. In 23 regular-season games, Hall shot 38 percent from 3-point range.

The Alice Lloyd College women’s basketball program is under the direction of veteran head coach John Mills. ALC competes in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) along with Asbury, IU Southeast, Alice Lloyd, Brescia, Berea, Midway and St. Louis College of Pharmacy. IU Southeast has won four straight KIAC championships.

Alice Lloyd concluded the 2011-12 season 11-21 overall and 6-5 in the conference.
