Those who wish to enter can submit their favorite pictures of their children and grandchildren at The Floyd County Times website. Simply go to floydcountytimes.com and click the "Cutest Kids" banner in the upper right portion of the page. Entries will be accepted between Mother's Day and Father's Day.
Beginning June 3, the public can begin voting for their favorite pictures. Each person can vote up to five times a day.
At the end of the contest, the child pictured in the most popular photo will be deemed the 2012 Cutest Kid and the entrant will receive a grand prize of $250, courtesy of Brown's Ford.
InterMountain Cable is also supporting the contest, as a category sponsor.
Last year, Chloe Hurd, 6, of Pikeville, won the honor of being the 2011 Cutest Kid. Lisa Hurd, Chloe's mother, said the $250 prize would go directly into the little girl's savings account.
