HI HAT - The South Floyd High School volleyball team, under the direction of head coach Keith Smallwood, hosted a youth camp last week. During the camp, Smallwood, his coaching staff and SFHS volleyball players provided instruction during the camp. Fundamentals of the sport were taught throughout the youth volleyball event.
South Floyd, which competes in the 58th District/Floyd County Conference and 15th Region, completed the 2011 season 29-6. The Lady Raiders defeated longtime rival Allen Central in the district title match but fell to the Lady Rebels in the regional championship contest. Annually, South Floyd ranks as one of the 15th Region’s top volleyball programs.
