Carlos Hall Jr., 49, of Grethel, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Pikeville Medical Center.

Born Dec. 23, 1962, in Floyd County to Ruth Tackett Hall and the late Carlos Hall, he was a disabled coal miner.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Carla Hall, of Grethel; a brother, Michael Hall, of Grethel; and two sisters, Carolyn Hall, of Pikeville, and Barbara Mature, of Michigan.

Funeral services for Carlos Hall Jr. will be held at noon, Thursday, Aug. 9, at Pilgrims Home Old Regular Baptist Church, with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery, at Grethel.

Visitation will take place after 4 p.m., Tuesday, and all day Wednesday, at the church.
