ALLEN - Reesce Endicott scored a game-high 14 points and Kassie Jarvis added 13 as host Allen defeated Stumbo 35-12 in the championship game of the Shag Campbell C-Team Tournament Thursday evening.


Allie Jarvis scored five points and Alliyah Newsome netted three for the Lady Eagles.


Allen was 14-for-38 from the field. The Lady Eagles finished 7-of-16 from the free throw line.


Allen set the tone early, outscoring Floyd County foe Stumbo 11-2 in the opening quarter. The Lady Eagles carried a 26-4 lead into halftime.


Allen remained ahead throughout the season half. The Lady Eagles owned a comfortable 33-6 lead at the conclusion of the third quarter.


Allen took care of the basketball, committing only 10 turnovers.


Defensively, Allen forced Stumbo into committing 26 turnovers. The defensive-minded Lady Eagles recorded 21 steals.


Allen C-, B- and A-teams captured titles in the Shag Campbell Tournament.
