Eva M. Little, 68, of Melvin, died Sept. 27, 2012, at St. Joseph Martin.

She was born March 11, 1944, at Hollybush, to the late Melvin and Grace Triplett Jacobs. Eva was the wife of Clinton Little. She was a homemaker and a member of the Enterprise Old Regular Baptist Church, Virgie, KY

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tivis Jr. Johnson, and a brother, Rudolph Jacobs.

She is survived by her children, Doug (Lori) Little, Brian (Brandy) Little, Marty (Sheila) Little, Kevin (Jenny Ann) Little and Kim (Neil) Brown, all of Melvin, Carol Johnson, of Wheelwright, (Stoney Howell), of McDowell, Brenda (Willie Jr.) Slone, of Wheelwright, and Jill (Don “Booty”) Hall, of Wheelwright; two brothers, Clard Jacobs, of Lexington, and Kermit (Joyce) Jacobs, of Bevinsville; three sisters, Pam (Randall) Hall, of Price, Joyce (Donnie) Little, of Melvin, and Debbie Shope, of Martin; 26 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 30, at Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, at Melvin. Burial followed the service in the Little Family Cemetery, at Weeksbury.

Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
