Estill Goble, 93 years of age, passed away Monday October 29, 2012 at his residence in Harold, KY. He was born May 28, 1919, at Endicott, KY, and was the son of the late Joseph Goble and Hattie Endicott Goble. he was a former contract driller for oil and gas employed with the city service.

He proudly served his country as sergeant in the army during WWII.

Estill was preceded in death by his wife, Lurline Crider Goble on January 6, 1972. Also preceding him were 3 brothers: Virgil, Woodrow, and Darwin Goble and one sister, Evelyn Setser.

Estill is survived by two sons: Harold D. Goble and his wife, Lana, of Willis, MI, Paul D. Goble and his wife, Sharon of Harold, KY, one sister, Betty Jean Goble Conn of Ivel, KY; three grandchildren: Stacey Dawn Ratliff, Kristi Leigh Hammond, Chanin Estill Heise and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Love officiating. Burial will be at Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, KY.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Appalachian Hospice, P.O. Box 277, Hager Hill, Kentucky 41222.

The family has entrusted arrangements to the Carter Funeral Home.
