Ruth “Ruby” Skeans Howell, 78, of McDowell, died Wednesday October 31, 2012 at Greg and Norene Wells Hospice

Center. She was born April 9, 1934 in Martin, to the late Henry and Rosa Hill Skeans. She was the wife of the late Delmer Howell.

She was preceded in death by one grandson: Brandon Howell; Brother & Sisters: Leonard Skeans, Hazel Osborne, Imogene Elliott & Audrey Salisbury.

She is survived by her children: Dale C. Howell, Alan K. Howell & Patricia “Patti” Dye; Sister: Saundra Moore; Grandchildren: Shelby Martin, Shawn Howell, Rachelle Howell, Natausha Miller, Andre’ Dye7 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 3, 2012, 12:00 noon at McDowell First Baptist Church, McDowell with officiating by Slade Stinson. Burial will follow the service at the Osborne Family Cemetery, (Frasures Creek) McDowell, KY.
