SITKA - The Kinzer Motorsports team rolled into the newly-reopened 201 Speedway on Saturday night for the rain-postponed Halloween 50. The unsanctioned program at 201 Speedway boasted a $3,000 winner’s check. Allen native Brandon Kinzer ran fifth in his stacked heat race, but later won the B-Main to transfer into the 50-lap main event. Kinzer then started 14th on the grid in the Halloween 50 and proceeded to pick off seven competitors to score a solid seventh place finish.

Veteran driver Jackie Boggs won the feature race, finishing in front of Eddie Carrier Jr., Josh McGuire, Victor Lee and Rod Conley in the top-five. Fellow Eastern Kentucky Late Model driver Chris Combs finished sixth, ending the race one spot ahead of Kinzer.

The Kinzer raceteam is scheduled to be back in competition Friday-Saturday at Duck River (Tenn.) Raceway Park in the Deep Fried 75, a $10,000-to-win feature race.
