Kathy Hamilton, 52, of Ivel, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 30, 1960, to Vivian Stratton Conn and the late Rex Hamilton. Her stepfather was Donald Conn. Kathy worked as a secretary for Waste Management.
She is survived by two sisters, Debbie Akers, of Jamestown, Ind., and Jeannie Newsome, of Stanville; four nieces, Alexis Hope Newsome, April Newsome, Allyson Newsome and Heather Akers; and a nephew, Doug Akers.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 26, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Barry Clark officiating. Burial followed the service in Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
