Rodney Dean Thornsberry, 57, of Bypro, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Hazard ARH.


He was born Jan. 23, 1955, to the late Boyd Thornsberry and Lola Johnson. Rodney worked in the coal mines.


He is survived by two daughters, Brandi Thornsberry and Selena Hamilton, of Inez; brothers and sisters, Glen Thornsberry, of Wheelwright, Garland Thornsberry, of Weeksbury, Gary Thornsberry, of Dayton, Tenn., Bill Johnson, of Milwaukee, Wis., Loretta Johnson Fuller, of Polk City, Fla., Linda Harmeyer, of Lomira, Wis., Patricia Hall, of Springfield, Ohio, Faye O’Shea, of Dekalb, Ill., Palastine Vanosdole, of Knightstown, Ind., and Kim Johnson, of Lexington.


A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin.
