PIKEVILLE - Betsy Layne will play Central on Saturday evening in the Kentucky Farm Bureau Classic at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.
The Bobcats were facing Pikeville on the road Tuesday night. Betsy Layne will entertain South Floyd one night before venturing to the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center for the Kentucky Farm Bureau Classic matchup.
Betsy Layne packed a 3-1 record into Tuesday night’s game versus Pikeville. The Betsy Layne-Pikeville boys’ basketball game ended too late to make this edition.
The Bobcats own wins over Phelps, Allen Central and the Piarist School. Prestonsburg defeated Betsy Layne early last week.
Central will carry a 3-0 record into Saturday’s game. The Yellowjackets have defeated Louisville foes St. Xavier, Male and Eastern.
Tip-off for the Betsy Layne-Central boys’ basketball game is set for 4 p.m.
