Barbara Jean Gibson Blevins, 59, of Tram, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Pikeville Medical Center.


She was born Jan. 5, 1953, to the late Henry Dallas and Lona Blevins Gibson. She was the wife of Jesse Blevins and was a retired caregiver and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Tram.


She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Gibson, Forrest Gibson and Clyde Blevins.


She is survived by a daughter, Sherrie (George) Crum, of Tram; four sisters, Geneva “Tee” Walker, Iva Lee Taylor, Bulah Slone and Barbara Johnson, all of Tram; and grandchildren, Justin Crum, Robert Crum, Haley Crum, Jordan Carroll, Jody Carroll, Kashandie Carroll, Jayla Slone, Mary “Nikki” Slone, Gavin Slone and Majayla Slone.


Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 17, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Atha Johnson and Lester Johnson officiating. Burial followed the service at Blevins-Crum Cemetery.


Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
