Ronald Dean Vance, age 49, of Beaver, husband of Brenda Sue Light Vance, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born March 2, 1963, in McDowell, a son of Eva Hamilton Vance and the late Ronald Gene Vance. He was a coal operator.
In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his mother, Eva Hamilton Vance, of Beaver; a son, Earnest Colt Vance, of Beaver; a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Vance, of Beaver; a brother, Randall Gene Vance, of Beaver; and three sisters, Penny Gray, of Beaver, Debbie Tackett, of Beaver, and Teresa Vance Bentley, of McDowell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Gene Vance.
Funeral services for Ronald Dean Vance were held Monday, Dec. 24, at the Ligon Freewill Baptist Church, with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial followed in the George Elliott Cemetery, at Beaver.
