The Floyd County Beagle Club completed its first year of competitions in October. The club is sanctioned by the National Kennel Club and American Rabbit Hound Association. This is the first rabbit hunting club in Floyd County.
McKinney’s Sassy (Michael McKinney-owner) was honored as the Floyd County Beagle Club’s Open Class Hound of the Year.
Akers’ Z Zippy Zip (Saul and Chris Akers-owners) was crowned the Floyd County Beagle Club’s Champion Class Hound of the Year.
