Jack P. Spradlin, age 81 of Franklin, Tenn., passed away peacefully Jan. 31, 2013.

Born in 1931, at Glo, to John Harrison and Nora Lee Conley Spradlin, and preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John, Dwight and Billy Spradlin.

Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lovella Patton Spradlin; daughter, Beth Ann Spradlin; son, John-Mark Spradlin and his wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Caroline and Jonathan Spradlin.

Jack served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He graduated from the University of Louisville and worked as a CPA, bank officer and small business owner. He served as an elder at churches in Pikeville and Louisville. In Franklin, Tenn., he was a member of Fourth Ave. Church of Christ, where a memorial celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, with Albert Lemmons officiating.
