ALLEN - Wesley Christian High School senior center/power forward Stephen Goble has received a scholarship offer from Crown College, an NCAA Division III program from Minnesota
Located in Saint Bonifacius, Minn., Crown College competes in the UMAC (Upper Midwest Athletic Conference) along with North Central University, Northwestern College, Martin Luther College, Northland College, College of St. Scholastica, University of Minnesota Morris and Bethany Lutheran College.
Through 24 games, Goble is averaging 14.7 points per game for the Wesley Christian boys’ basketball team.
Shawnee State and Cincinnati Christian have also shown interest in the Wesley Christian bigman. Goble might also take the junior college route. Southeast Community College and Volunteer State Community College, located in Nebraska and Tennessee, respectively, continue to show interest in Goble. Volunteer State has invited him for a workout.
