Watts signs three for ALC volleyball program

PIPPA PASSES - The Alice Lloyd College volleyball coaching staff has been busy building its program for the 2013-14 season. ALC Coach Jolene Watts has been out on the recruiting trail, searching for are talent that will to improve the Lady Eagles’ as they prepare to compete in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) during the upcoming season. With the recent signings of Lawrence County High School’s Hali Adams, Prestonsburg High School’s Sadie Slone and Joy Hatfield of Hancock High School, Watts is confident that she has done just that.
“It is our honor and privilege to welcome these ladies to the Lady Eagles’ volleyball team,” Watts said. “We anticipate great things from them and expect them to be excellent additions to our squad. Their athleticism and character both on and off the court are what we look for in players at the collegiate level.”
The Alive Lloyd volleyball team competes in the KIAC along with IU East, Point Park, Asbury, IU Southeast, Cincinnati Christian, Brescia, Carlow, SLCOP, Berea and Midway.
