Alma Rene Jones Caudill, age 84, of Bevinsville, wife of Elmer Caudill, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at her residence.


She was born May 4, 1929, at Bypro, a daughter of the late Johnny and Lula Hatfield Jones. She was a retired postmaster, having worked at the Bevinsville Post Office.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Paul R. Jones, of Salyersville; two sisters, Marlene Little, of Bevinsville, and Mary Croot, of Tupelo, Miss.; a grandson, Elmer Douglas Caudill; and two great grandsons, Brody Douglas and Ethan Michael Caudill.


She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Michael Rodney and Jackie Caudill; a sister, Alpha Jean Caudill; and a grandson, Jeremy Michael Caudill.


Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 28, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Church of Christ ministers officiating. Burial followed in the Arlis Bates Cemetery, at Bevinsville.
