Highest Level Football Camp: NFL veterans will host the Highest Level Football Camp at Prestonsburg High School on Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The non-contact youth football camp is for players ages 5-18.
The camp will be under the direction of former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver/kick returner Glenn Holt. During an NFL regular-season game versus the Buffalo Bills, Holt returned a kick 100 yards for a touchdown.
Prior to playing for the Bengals in the NFL, Holt was named Kentucky’s Team MVP. He also served as an assistant coach on the University of Kentucky football program’s coaching staff.
Former NFL players Johnny Williams (Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos) and Justin Hamilton (Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins) will also serve as instructors during the camp.
Cost of the camp is $65 and includes lunch, a T-shirt and certificate.
Campers will be grouped according to ages and have an opportunity to compete for awards in various competitions.
Football fundamentals will be covered throughout the camp, which will also feature additional staff and guest speakers.

Allen Central Basketball Camp: The Allen Central High School boys’ basketball team will host a youth camp June 3-5 at J.E. Campbell Arena.
The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m.-Noon each day. Registration for the camp will be held at 8:15 a.m. on June 3 in the gym lobby.
Anyone in grades K-8 is eligible for the Allen Central High School boys’ basketball program-hosted camp. Cost of the camp is $65.
40th Annual Kenny Huffman Tennis Tournament set for Aug. 2-4: The 40th Annual Kenny Huffman Tennis Tournament will be held in Pikeville August 2-4. The tournament will include divisions for all age groups and skill levels.
