Delmer Kiser, age 84, of Teaberry, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in the St. Joseph Hospital, Martin. He was born Jan. 19, 1928, at Teaberry, a son of the late Emery and Tilda Howell Kiser. Delmer was a retired coal miner.

Delmer Kiser, age 84, of Teaberry, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in the St. Joseph Hospital, Martin.

He was born Jan. 19, 1928, at Teaberry, a son of the late Emery and Tilda Howell Kiser. Delmer was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by a son, Harold Kiser, and his wife, Renee, of Huber Heights, Ohio; six daughters, Betty Jervis, of Harold, Iva Dean Hart and her husband, Lee, of Betsy Layne, Christlene Cook and her husband, Bob, of Yates Center, Kans., Eloise Starks and Sheryl Ann Robertson, both of Fremont, Ohio, and Connie Kiser Gratz and her husband, Robert, of Sandusky, Ohio; a brother, Larry Kiser, of Teaberry; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Myrita Kiser; two brothers, Ollie Kiser and Elmer Kiser; and four sisters, Gladys Bentley, Dora Keathley, Delpha Hamilton and Dorothy Hamilton.

Funeral services for Delmer Kiser will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6 in the Samaria Regular Baptist Church, at Teaberry, with the Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Kiser Family Cemetery, at Teaberry, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
