Willard Dotson, 71, of Prestonsburg, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 5, 1941, in Prestonsburg, to the late Bill and Maggie Arnett Dotson. He was the husband of Edith Hager Dotson.

He worked as a coal miner, a member of the Plumber & Pipe Fitter Association in Ashland, the First Church of God, Prestonsburg, and a lifetime member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Dotson.

He is survived by a daughter, Shauna Conley, of Prestonsburg; two brothers, Greeley Dotson, of Grove City, Ohio, and Bob Dotson, of Prestonsburg; and two grandchildren, Robert Corey Conley and Jarred Will Conley

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Dotson Family Cemetery (Ruff & Tuff), Prestonsburg.
